Personally, I'd pair a slogan tee with pretty much anything. It's just a modern twist on an everyday classic t-shirt and one that everyone should have in their wardrobe. As these gingham trousers are quite a statement piece I didn't want to go too crazy but at the same time didn't want to wear something quite as basic as a white or grey t-shirt. Accompanied here with these amazing red suede boots I really like this as an everyday outfit. I can't tell you how comfortable these trousers are which I just had to snap up at £15! See them for yourself here.
Sticking with the red theme because YOLO, below is another way I would pair my 1972 slogan t-shirt for another everyday look. Cue the red lace up skirt of dreams. I am obsessed with this little red number and absolutely love the lace up detailing. In my opinion this skirt is a great day-to-night piece which can be achieved by simply switching up your accessories.
As it's not quite bare legs, bare all kind of weather I've teamed this outfit with a borg lined denim jacket to keep the chill at bay. I like mixing my outerwear options up come spring and a denim jacket is a great transitional jacket which steers me away slightly from reaching for the trusted leather jacket.
So there you have it, two ways to wear a very inexpensive slogan tee. Which outfit is your favourite? I would love to know. I've also included a few of my favourite options below if you are looking for a new slogan tee to add to your collection:
T-Shirt - Topshop
Skirt - Miss Pap
Trousers - Pretty Little Thing
Boots - Next
