I'm officially bored of this cold weather. One minute it's cold, the next it's 17 degrees and pure sunshine, quite frankly it's becoming a little hard to keep up. With that said, the first glimpse of sunshine and I'm reaching for a floral wrap dress, which is one of my favourite items to wear for spring and summer. To be honest, all year round if I had the chance. One pet hate I have though is pairing pretty dresses such as the one worn in today's post with black tights. I mean I will do it but personally I think dresses look so much nicer with bare legs. Surely I can't be the only one to think this?
This black floral wrap dress from Silk Fred is in my opinion, the perfect transitional piece. With just the right amount of florals, the black certainly tones it down and steers it away from being too summery. It definitely reminds me of the Realisation Par dresses, which I am dieing to get my hands on. If you haven't seen them, you must take a peek here. Just don't blame me if your bank card takes a battering because believe me it will take a serious amount of self restraint to not cave and add one to your basket.
As it's now officially Spring, I cannot wait to start wearing more pretty wrap style dresses like this. Let's just hope the weather perks up and finally gets a bit warmer but with a promising weekend, one can only hope for warmer days. I hope you all had a lovely weekend and Mothering Sunday
