The first time I wore this tunic, a guy complimented me on my outfit and said he liked my dress. True story, which took me very much by surprise as it was just as I was leaving a coffee shop in Shoreditch. It pretty much made my day (sad I know) because it wasn't in a sleezy way which can be so rare these days. The guy just wanted to pay me or shall I say my outfit a compliment and what girl doesn't love that?! I'd say that was money well spent in Topshop which means I can now justify purchasing this dress. I mean as if I really need encouraging.
Underwear as outerwear has been a trend that has circulated the fashion world for a little while now. With some opting for more racier options than others, you really can be as experimental with the trend as you want to be. This in Topshop's eyes is probably classified as a top or tunic to be worn with jeans but I sized up so I could wear it as a dress. I'm really loving the corset vibes because it dresses a simple white tee up and is definitely something that you could transition from day-to-night quite easily. These amazing star print boots definitely make this more of a night time look but team this dress with a pair of converse/vans and a fish net sock and you've got yourself an off-duty, daytime look. What are your thoughts on the corset t-shirt dress? Are you a fan?
