Florals for spring? Ground breaking right. With the weather being so cold and miserable at the moment, (well in London anyways) I find it so hard to start thinking about my Spring wardrobe. With that said, pieces are slowly starting to emerge both in store and online getting me to thinking about what pieces I will be investing in to see me through the months leading up to summer.
On a recent shopping trip, I stumbled across this Topshop floral tie front blouse and knew I had to snap it up. The ruffles and floral detail instantly caught my attention, even if this blouse is slightly more feminine than I would usually wear. However after seeing the gorgeous Realisation PR wrap style dresses all over Instagram last summer, I knew hands down it was a style I was keen to add to my wardrobe this season. It is a little more on the revealing side but with a pretty lace bra worn underneath or perhaps a larger bust this would look great on any figure. Not to mention, peonies are my favourite spring time flower so naturally I was bound to love this blouse the moment I laid eyes on it.
Paired here with a loose fitting pair of frayed hem jeans and backless loafers, this is definitely an outfit that can transition you into the warmer months, whenever this may be. For now, layering a cardigan and coat over the top will be sufficient enough to keep the cold chill at bay whilst allowing you to add a touch of floral to your everyday look.
