Everyday Casual

My go-to winter outfit is definitely a jeans and t-shirt/jumper something. I promise myself every year that I'll make a conscious effort to be better and wear more pretty dresses or skirts. However when the cold weather strikes, the reality is it's just far too cold especially when you feel frozen minutes from stepping out the front door. So jeans tend to triumph time and time again which is why having a few good pairs is crucial for the colder months.

There are many positive attributes to come out of purchasing a good fitting pair of jeans. Not only do they do wonders for your confidence but fitted in the right places they make your butt look incredible whilst accentuating those curves. I've definitely seen a shift in the style of jeans I have been wearing as of late. There was a point where you couldn't get me out of my skinny jeans. The tighter the better I used to say. Fast forward a few seasons and now I'm opting for a looser, more relaxed style with frayed hems. Cue the sarcastic comments, most likely from my grandma that the dog has been at my jeans *major eye roll* but I just can't seem to get enough of this style right now. It is after all the smallest details which can make a huge difference to your outfit overall.

These jeans are from New Look, and quite frankly fit like a glove. It can often be hard to find good fitting jeans on the high street but if you're looking for something that are flattering with a good stretch then these could very well be for you. Paired with a band tee and puffer bomber jacket this is something that I would definitely wear everyday. Usually if I'm running errands I might pair this look with a trainer but to smarten it up, I've opted for a metallic ankle boot, because why the hell not?! I mean YOLO.
