Forget LBD (that's little black dress for those of you who aren't familiar), this season it's all about the little red dress. I mean nothing screams Christmas like a splash of red and this is one VERY red dress. Correction, it's actually a playsuit but it sure does look like a dress and after picking it up in the Zara on Oxford Street last week, it was a piece I was just dieing to share with you all. Not only that, it sure did the trick of making me feel all festive. I can't deny my love for a good Christmas party and spending champagne fuelled evenings with your favourite girls. So far my December is shaping up to be a busy one and I'm really looking forward to the party season and all of its festivities. I really hope you are too.
With it being absolutely freezing in London and with no hopes of it getting warmer anytime soon, a coat is 100% necessary. This leopard print coat which was featured in Elle magazine is an absolute favourite of mine. One would presume that a bold colour such as red paired with a statement print such as leopard shouldn't work but somehow it just does. I'm loving the overall look and think it's perfect for the party season with just the right amount of sophistication, whilst the frill hem detail on this red playsuit keeps it fun and girly.
With the party season almost upon us, I will be showing you different ways in which I will be styling my favourite party pieces for the festive period. From sparkles to velvet, I've got it covered and hopefully there will be plenty of party outfit inspo for you all to feast your eyes on. So make sure you stop by to see what party pieces I plan on wearing throughout December. Let's hope by the end of the month I haven't made you sick of partywear altogether.
In my last blog post I briefly touched upon not getting the wear out of those pieces you buy simply for the party season. This year I wanted things to be slightly different by focusing on purchasing a few key pieces, that I could wear again and again. This red playsuit is one of them as well as these amazing black suede heels and living proof that you need to break the bank to look and feel fab. Did I mention that both are under £30?! Classic styles in timeless colours was just what I had in mind so I couldn't be happier with my recent purchases.
If I told you that these very Gucci-esque heels were a mere £25, would you even believe me? Well they are and not only are they real suede they are so comfortable too. It was literally love at first sight and you know how I enjoy finding a good designer dupe at a fraction of the price. These really are a pair of heels I'll be getting lots of wear out because after all you can never go wrong with black.
