The leather biker jacket is a piece of outerwear that forms a fundamental part of most peoples capsule wardrobes. I know I certainly couldn't live without mine. I'm by no means a biker jacket snob but there's something about a leather jacket that you just cannot beat. Layered over a jumper, the leather jacket is the perfect outerwear piece for this time of year. I don't know about you, but I wear mine all year round and for any occasion. I bought my first real leather jacket about four years ago and I still have it to this day. It's a purchase I hands down do not regret and the best thing about it is that it only seems to get better with age.
With that said, if a biker jacket is something you want to add to your wardrobe it need not break the bank. There are so many great PU leather options if your in the market for one and a lot more affordable too. Take this very jacket worn in today's post. It's hands down one of the prettiest biker jackets I have seen in a long time. The embroidered detail gives it a gorgeous femininity whilst the bad-ass studs add a rockier edge, which is very fitting with my individual style. I love taking something girly and making it a little rough around the edges.
As this jacket is such a statement in its own right, I didn't want to over complicate the outfit. Hence why I have completely stripped this outfit back and gone for a jeans and cami top ensemble. I love these marble heel boots so much that I couldn't not wear them. I mean just look at that heel?! With that said, I would dress this outfit down more and pair it with my old skool vans for a more casual look.
