There is nothing I love more than a neutral colour palette. Blush pink tones mixed in with soft nudes and you've got yourself a pretty dreamy colour combo. This nude playsuit is a recent addition to my wardrobe and a great transitional piece, if I do say so myself. The long sleeves steer it away from being too summery whilst the flutter short detail keeps it looking girly and feminine at the same time. I can already envisage toughening it up with a pair of studded biker boots for an edgier look.
For some time now I have been on the hunt for a faux suede biker jacket but have never found one that I really liked. Most are often too short or just not quite right. Admittedly this Missguided one I got on a bit of a whim thinking that I probably wouldn't like it. On first impressions, I have to say I absolutely loved it. The length is just perfect and it's thicker than your standard biker jacket, making it perfect for when the weather gets cooler but not quite cold enough for a winter coat. It's also pretty reasonably priced too. Living proof that you need not spend a fortune in the attempt to update your winter wardrobe. As most people tend to gravitate towards the darker hues when selecting clothes for winter, I like how this rose pink shade will brighten up any look. Not to mention look amazing paired with grey tones. It goes without saying that pink and grey worn together is one of my all time favourite colour combinations.
Whilst I have been enjoying the warm weather we have had in London as of late I am getting more excited about the prospect of updating my wardrobe for autumn/winter and am certainly looking forward to wearing both this jacket and playsuit individually. Are nude tones something you like to wear in winter? I know I'm definitely going to make a conscious effort this season to inject more colour into my wardrobe....I hope you will do the same.
