Slowly but surely embroidered florals are starting to emerge on the high street and this trend is set to be huge for autumn/winter, if you hadn't already noticed. Gucci in my opinion pioneered this trend, first seen on the It Dionysus bag. I'm still swooning over this bag and I kid you not when I say I think about it bag every day. Sad I know. I just love how you can take something relatively plain, scatter it with florals making it instantly covetable.
These embroidered jeans did just that for me. Admittedly, I haven't worn a pair of skinny fit jeans for a little while now. As of late, I tend to favour a straighter leg or more relaxed fit so naturally I loved the style of this particular pair. Add a touch of embroidery and obviously I was bound to love them. Call me predictable. Originally, I had planned to wear these jeans with a plain white shirt and heels to keep the focus on the embroidered detailing. However, when doubling up on florals with these jeans and bomber jacket, I actually really liked the overall look. Plus I'm literally living in bomber jackets at the moment. In hindsight, I probably should have worn heels but with a busy schedule for my first day of LFW I opted for these studded ankle boots instead. My first thoughts? So Givenchy but at a much friendlier price tag. I like how they toughen up the feminine florals and give some much needed edge to this outfit.
As embroidery is set to be huge for autumn/winter a pair of jeans or bomber jacket is a great way to incorporate the trend into your everyday wardrobe, without breaking the bank or have it sitting in the back of your wardrobe. If your not feeling brave enough an accessory is always a good compromise. I'm a little bit in love with this ASOS bag and it's a great way to embrace the trend whilst making your outfit look on point. Wouldn't you agree?
As always I would love to know what you think of this look. Tomorrow I'm back at LFW for a show as well as a few presentations so make sure you stop by my blog or Instagram tomorrow to see what I wear for my second day at London Fashion Week this season.
