Since I first saw Kendall Jenner step out in a gorgeous pink satin cami dress layered over a white tee I knew I wanted to experiment with this ensemble. Typically, cami or slip dresses have the tendency to look quite dressy. I have often worn one on a night out but some would keep it solely for the bedroom (meant in the least raunchy way possible). With that said, underwear as outerwear has become more acceptable and dare I say fashionable so naturally this was going to be a trend that would stick. I also really like how you can style a cami dress down with a white tee and battered pair of converse for a real off duty look that's stylish yet comfortable.
I snapped this striped cami dress up in the Mango sale for an absolute bargain. I couldn't quite believe my eyes when I saw the £14.99 price tag! As much as I love the more neutral versions I wanted one that I could take through to winter that I could wear with black tights and ankle boots. Switch the t-shirt for and a roll neck jumper and you've got yourself a cute winter outfit. There are so many lovely cami dresses on the high street at the moment with my favourites being here and here. What is your take on the cami dress and t -shirt combo? Is it one you have already added to your wardrobe or are thinking of dabbling in this season?
I have also filmed a video over on my YouTube channel where you can see this outfit in full. Check it out by hitting the play button below and let me know what you all think. I would love to know your thoughts as I am hoping to make it a more regular occurrence.
