The thing I love about white is just how summery it can make an outfit look. Throw white lace into the equation and quite frankly your onto a winner. During the warmer months, I prefer wearing playsuits as you don't have to worry about any dreaded Marilyn moments with even the slightest breeze. When I first saw this white lace playsuit on the Missguided website, I instantly look a liking to it. It reminded me slightly of the designs by self portrait but at at a much purse friendlier price. You should know by now that I am a fan of finding a good bargain particularly when it saves me a few hundred pounds. When it arrived I was every bit as impressed. Priced at £40, the quality of this playsuit is amazing and one that can be worn for even the most special of occasions.
As white is pretty much a blank canvas accessorising is easy peasy. Throw anything at this playsuit and I guarantee it will look great, within reason. As I was going for a more day time look with this playsuit, I couldn't wait to pair it with my new 'small traveller' bag from The Cambridge Satchel Co. As much as I love small bags, with what I do they're often not practical. I pretty much always carry my Olympus PEN camera around with me so need a bag big enough to fit this and my everyday essentials in, and this bag does just that. The best part about this bag is how personal it is to me as its been embossed with my initials, G.T (for those of you who didn't know). This is actually a service that The Cambridge Satchel Co. offer on all of their bags and for me it's welcomed with open arms. I would literally have everything embossed if I could, I just love the personal touch. What instantly drew me to this bag other than the practicality was the colour. Many of you may prefer a more classic shade but I just gravitated towards this periwinkle blue and you should all know by now that I love a good pastel hue. Perfect for summer but come winter I can also pair it with greys and burgundy for a touch of colour in the drearier months. I would love to know your thoughts on this periwinkle blue and white combo in todays post. More importantly do any of you own a bag from The Cambridge Satchel Co.?
