From Beach to Street: How To Wear Crochet This Summer
Pretty crochet dresses are my summer uniform. Fact. Perfect for holidays, weekends and summer barbecues this swing dress has such versatility that is easy and oh-so breezy. I appreciate that this style of dress may not be to everyones taste. Looking back at these photos it does appear that this dress adds a few pounds which is never welcomed with open arms by any girl, but I love the crochet detailing so much that I'm willing to cast this aside. I cannot get over just how Chloé esque this dress is and it looks gorgeous paired with a flat lace up sandal or espadrille wedge for a real summery look. I love those types of dresses that you can buy in mind for your holiday but that you can also wear when your home and this crochet dream is just that. One great thing about this particular dress is that you can make it look very different depending on which type of jacket you pair it with. Here, I've gone for a staple denim jacket but that's not to say it won't look just as good with a good old leather j or even a bomber. As it's still on the milder side in London, I thought it would be more appropriate to wear my suede buckle ankle boots for a more dressed down look and I must say I'm really liking the boho vibes. I actually wore this very outfit to the Electric Cinema on Portobello Road in Notting Hill for the premiere of the Ab Fab movie. For those of you who haven't seen the film or visited this cinema I urge you to do both. With a cinema so comfortable and food literally delivered to your seat, it's a cinema experience that hands down triumphs the likes of the Odeon.
