Adding a Touch Of Embroidery To Your Holiday Wardrobe
This is the last (but by no means least) outfit post from my recent trip to the beautiful Greek island of Mykonos. I really hope that I haven't bored you to tears and you've actually enjoyed reading and seeing first hand what came with me on my impromptu trip to Greece with Lucia. I will also be posting a hotel review of where we stayed which was breathtakingly beautiful. I definitely experienced a few surreal moments that's for sure so keep your eyes peeled for that post which will be coming your way shortly.
For any of you that have been to Mykonos before (a good tip for those who haven't) it's a very windy island. Admittedly, we did visit in the middle of May so it was bound to be milder but with that said a jacket was needed in the evenings to keep the chill at bay. I still managed to get sunburnt but that was partly me thinking that my pasty English skin could handle the mid 20's temperatures. I mean it had been hotter in parts of England, but I still managed to resemble a baby lobster. There's something quite demoralising about having to rub endless amounts of aftersun onto your burnt limbs.
I hadn't originally intended on taking this Zara biker jacket away with me but I am so pleased I did. Not only did it co-ordinate perfectly with the blue and white streets of Mykonos town but it was the perfect pop of colour for a number of my holiday outfits, including this gorgeous Missguided playsuit. In case your wondering it also comes in a rather striking orange version which you can see here. The best part about this playsuit, other than it looking incredible on is that it barely creased whilst being transported in my case. This is a pet hate of mine because more often than not you don't have access to an iron unless your staying in a 5 star resort and let's face it, I'm not going to start ironing before I go out. I was rest assured that I didn't have to try and pull of the 'creased' look. If you have a summer holiday planned over the next fews months I would definitely recommend investing in this embroidered playsuit. Not only is it perfect for the day but paired with wedges it's the perfect piece for dinner or some fancy cocktails watching the sunset.
