Isabel Marant Vibes

When I initially saw this sweet embroidered blouse on the Missguided website, I had to do a double take. Not only was it a mere £22 but I was convinced it could pass as Isabel Marant. One thing I love about the Parisian designer is the way Marant champions relaxed off-duty fashion with a romantic bohemian edge. Come Summer, I cannot wait to dig out those boho pieces I have been hiding away all year long. This Missguided blouse epitomises just that and it's the embroidered and tie detailing that I instantly fell in love with. The cropped hem makes this top perfect for wearing with high waisted jeans (yes I am wearing the Topshop Mom jeans yet again) or with your favourite cut off denim shorts when the weather gets that little bit warmer. I've found the perfect pair here which, low and behold actually cover your bum. Lets save the bum cheeks for the beach ladies.

Sticking to the boho theme in today's outfit, I paired this gorgeous blouse with my ASOS suede ankle boots which you guys all seemed to go crazy for when I first posted them on Instagram. I mean just look at those buckles! I cannot believe how much they resemble the Toga Pulla version so I am pleased I saved myself a few hundred pounds there. I know the bohemian trend may not be to everyones taste, but a top like this is a great way to easily incorporate the trend into your capsule summer wardrobe. There's nothing too daring about it and the fact that it's black still keeps it as a fail safe option, whilst the detailing adds the loveliest touch. I personally love experimenting with colour during the warmer months but if you like to wear black all year round then this top could be a great option for you.

  1. That top is gorgeous, I adore the detailing! So so pretty x

  2. This top is divine Gem - going to buy for my holiday now :)

Also, can I ask what setting you shoot with on the Olympus 45mm? I can never get it right! xx

    1. Ah yay, I am so pleased and I know you will love it! I use the A setting on my Olympus PEN and make sure that the F number is set to 1.8 to ensure you get that blur. The closer you focus on something though the more blurred the background will be. I also vary the brightness depending on how good the lighting is where I am shooting. I hope this helps. x

  3. Love love love this top such a great find, going straight to purchase!

  4. I'm really feeling slightly baggier jeans at the moment. So comfy :) xo

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment on my blog. I hope you stop by again soon.
