Braving Bare Legs For The Sake Of Fashion

Spring is a funny time of year. Probably one of my favourite seasons yet it can often be one of the most difficult to nail in the dress code department. It's not quite bare legged weather but I am filled with an eagerness to want to get out of my jeans and banish those black tights in exchange for some lighter attire. With that said, this is probably one of my favourite outfits to date which is meant in the least smug way possible might I add. What I'm trying to get at is that this outfit incorporates three of my favourite trends: denim, khaki and stripes. A combination I certainly will be getting lots of wear out of over the coming months. Take this shacket (fancy word for shirt/jacket hybrid) for example it's the perfect piece for Spring. Light enough to layer over a jumper but one that won't weigh you down either. An a-line denim skirt is a must have for spring/summer and it can be worn in so many ways. It's also a great alternative to jeans and I feel that I lived in them over the winter months so it's certainly nice to shake things up.
