Spring Staples: A White Shirt & Ripped Denim Jeans

With Spring officially upon us, it's time to start pushing those thick knitted jumpers to the back of the wardrobe and investing in some key pieces that will transition you nicely from spring to dare I say summer. As much as I love layering, I have become a bit sick of the cold and very much look forward to wearing a little less clothing. Now its no secret that I love a good white shirt. It's such a versatile piece and one that every girl (and boy) should have at least one of in their wardrobe. What makes this Cheap Monday white shirt extra special is the open back and I love how oversized it is, which brings a whole new meaning to the term boyfriend shirt. Paired with a ripped boyfriend jean and metallic mules, I very much like this simple yet effortless ensemble.

Getting onto the topic of shoes, it's definitely time to start updating your shoe choices and quite frankly I couldn't be happier. I've certainly had enough of reaching for my ankle boots on a daily basis. With that said, I love wearing sandals in the summer months and these Senso silver mules were literally love at first sight. I particularly like how they instantly dress this jeans and white shirt combo up without even really trying. I was going to go for the black pair which in hindsight would have been the sensible option but I just loved the silver. What can I say I'm a bit of a magpie and if anything a shoe should make a statement. As always I would love to know what you think of this outfit and whether you love the classic white shirt and ripped jean combo as much as I do.
