The Shacket

Meet the shirt and jacket hybrid, formerly known as the 'Shacket'. As soon as I laid eyes on this ASOS gem, I knew I had to snap it up. I particularly liked the utility vibes and it's unlike anything I own, especially this longline style. It's such a staple piece that can be thrown over so many things and the perfect transitional piece when Spring is finally upon us. To make this jacket somewhat more flattering, I have cinched it in at the waist but this also boded well for keeping me that little bit warmer. As much as I love an open jacket, it's still pretty cold outside. Now it's no secret that I love a good pair of over the knee boots. When I saw these grey beauties I was instantly sold and then I saw that amazing marble effect heel. The best part is that they are a steal at under £40 and also come in black, if the grey version aren't for you. The smaller heel make these the perfect daytime boot, not to mention they are so comfortable. I would love to know your thoughts on this shacket. If you are thinking of purchasing I would suggest sizing down as this comes up pretty big. Unless your a fan of the oversized look of course. I am actually opted for a size 4 and am usually an 8 but am very happy with the fit. Get yours here
