Radley London Floral Street Bag

The lovely girls at Radley London invited myself and four other blogger babes for an intimate, fun filled day out to celebrate the launch of their new Floral Street multi-way bag. Named after their flagship London store, this beauty functions as a clutch, cross body and also a bumbag. Sticking to their quintessentially British roots, our first port of call was The National Portrait Gallery for a preview of the Vogue 100: A Century of Style exhibition. After a beautiful array of Vogue covers dating back to the 1920's, a compulsory stop at the  gift shop and plenty of tile floor appreciation we had certainly worked up an appetite and our next stop was The Ivy Market Grill in Covent Garden for a spot of lunch.

Upon arrival we were greeted with champagne and nibbles and waiting for us on the table was our own Radley Floral Street bag and a beautiful bouquet of Sadie Rose flowers.  As if the day couldn't get any better, the delicious two course meal left me in what can only be described as a food coma. From the extensive menu, my indecisive self finally whittled it down to salmon and smoked haddock fishcake served on a bed of creamed spinach accompanied by a soft poached hens egg and hollandaise sauce. After feeling comfortably full, I couldn't resist something sweet. After all dessert goes to the heart and not the stomach. The dessert. OH MY! Where do I even begin with the dessert. I went for the chocolate bombe: melting chocolate bombe with milk foam, vanilla ice cream and honeycomb centre accompanied with hot pouring salted caramel sauce. Is your mouth watering yet? Well it should be. Mine certainly was. All in all, a lovely day was had with amazing food and good company. I cannot thank the girls enough at Radley for inviting me along to this intimate affair and it also makes me realise how lucky I am to be able to go to such lovely events like this as a blogger. The best part is this Floral Street multi-way dream bag will be glued to my hip over the next few weeks. it's such a perfect size for carrying those handbag essentials and I've really been into small bags as of late. After all with something so small and dainty it's natural to love it right?
