London Fashion Week day two is done and dusted and despite the excessive caffeine fix, I feel exhausted. After being stuck in gridlock London traffic, I unfortunately missed my first show of the day. To say I was a little bit gutted was an understatement as Sibling was one of the AW16 shows I was eager to see. But hey ho, worst things have happened. After dashing over to the palmer // harding show, I must say I was incredibly impressed by their AW16 collection. Particularly the colour palette of yellow, black, white, brown and dusty blues. Roll necks were a key element to this collection and the camel coat looks like its here to stay for AW16, which is music to my ears. I was invited backstage to speak to hair stylist Stephen Low who described AW16's hair trend as "effortless" with a key focus on "low slung messy ponytails with minimal flyaway". This easy, get-up-and-go hairstyle is one I am looking forward to channeling more this Autumn/Winter.
Whilst London Fashion Week is an exciting yet busy time, I must say I am not a massive fan of the new BFC show space situated in Brewer Street Car Park. I am sure that you would all agree that it's definitely not as good for street style and as they don't actually shut off the roads, it can be extremely chaotic. I am surprised no one has been run over yet. For todays outfit I opted for comfort. As you all know by now I am a huge fan of dungarees. For todays look, I layered this amazing flared sleeve shirt underneath but ensured I stayed warm in this wool coat which FYI is a mere £20! I literally couldn't believe it either. Today I also swapped heels for trainers as my feet were owed a much needed rest which also made running around London that little bit easier.
