Fashion Essentials with New Look

Seasons come and go and with trends ever changing, I certainly rely on the basics to form the basis of my capsule wardrobe. Take the polo neck jumper for example, a great layering piece that can be worn under bomber jackets and sleeveless coats alike. Better still, when the weather finally gets warmer you can wear these pieces individually or paired with your favourite separates. I cannot wait to throw  this sleeveless coat over a boyfriend shirt and jeans to nail smart-casual dressing when the weather finally gets warmer.

I often find myself living in jeans this time of year, purely because it's so cold but a faux leather skirt is a great alternative which can be dressed up or down and also worn with black tights. Worn here with a plimsoll for a sportier look, this skirt can also be dressed up with these heeled ankle boots, to take it from day to night. All of these individual items are from New Look and I must say I am incredibly impressed with both the fit and quality. The latest collection focuses on fashion essentials and it encompasses just that; a neutral colour palette, with key pieces in clean cuts and fuss free designs to ensure you get the most out of your staples this winter. They have all definitely found a home in my wardrobe and I cannot wait to get more wear out of them individually over the coming months. They will certainly be the fashion essentials that transition me from winter to spring. But most importantly which outfit is your favourite?

  1. Love the faux leather skirt, think I need to invest in one as they're so versatile.
