The colour pink is literally everywhere. From oversized mannish coats to fluffy pink jumpers, you name it and the high street has got it. What I am particularly loving about the 'it' colour of the season is the play on texture. If one thing is clear, pink not only works for girlie girls. Zips, texture and cocoon shapes add a tough edge to the sweet as candy hue.
Pairing pink with grey creates the perfect colour combo and allows each of us to still reach for the familiar colour palette as we are fast approaching autumn/winter. With that said, this Zara jacket needed some tough love in the form of my black Topshop jumpsuit. What I love about this jacket, is its versatility. It is essentially an oversized bomber jacket that can be thrown over practically anything. Unfortunately, this will not take me through to the winter months as its simply not warm enough. With that said, it is perfect for the transitional period we are having at the moment where it looks like autumn but feels like summer.
Has a pink coat tickled your fancy? Will you go paler-than-pastel like this Zara jacket or look-at-me electric pink? If you have been lucky enough to find your perfect pink winter coat I would love to know where you got it from/see you in yours. Just because I am nosy like that.
