Two key seasonal pieces I am loving at the moment are the full skirt and cut out ankle boots. Winter pastels dominated the catwalk shows with pink painting itself as the most desirable colour of the season. Carven nailed this trend hands down for me with their candy coats which I have been lusting after ever since. The full skirt has dominated with its new length and new volume. I really warmed to those showcased by the emerging designer Eudon Choi who combined high levels of precision and luxe fabrics. If you are looking to invest in a full skirt, head to H&M or Topshop which have great versions in an array of textures.
Nothing beats the original Balenciaga cut out ankle boots. Peek-a-boo panels and gold buckles, whats not to love?! If the price tag is a bit steep for you, Topshop and Choies have great alternatives which will ensure you put a fashion foot forward this Autumn/Winter. Cut out ankle boots can toughen up everything from a pretty tea dress to distressed denim. A key investment if you ask me!
Cotton candy pink toughened up with a pair of cut out ankle boots is an ensemble that I am seriously loving this season. Have you invested in these two key season pieces? What do you think of the What's In Her Wardrobe look? I would love to know what your thoughts are.
