After a long and tiring week at work, I am so glad that it is Friday and that the weekend is finally here. From birthday celebrations at work involving sparkling wine and lots of chocolate cake, I then met some friends after work for drinks and a good catch up. Bison and Bird in Clapham Common was the place of choice and the 2-4-1 Mojitos were delicious. After all working girls need alcohol to take the edge off. I must say it was exactly what I needed to begin the weekend on a high. I literally cannot wait to go to the Shogun Audio Warehouse Party in London Bridge tomorrow night. With the likes of Chase & Status and Friction playing I know that it is going to be an amazing night.I literally cannot wait...Eek!
The Jeffery Campbell lookalikes featured in my blog post are so comfortable and although they may look like over sized dominatrix shoes they are a treat to walk in. To be honest I have never been a fan of stilettos, so when I find a pair of heels that look appealing to the eye and are easy to walk it, is an all round winner. I decided to team this standard black outfit with my favourite purple Zara blazer to add a splash of colour. Everyone gets stuck in the same rut of wearing black because its familiar and always looks good. I mean if your having a fat day, black always makes you feel and look slimmer. By adding a touch of colour to black, I feel that you instantly look and feel more glamorous I hate to over accessorize any outfit so this blazer is a perfect alternative for me and saves having to wear a heavy necklace that both feels awkward and weighs you down. As much as I love this outfit I think it may be an LBD or shorts for me tomorrow night accompanied with my o-so-familiar converse.....its unfortunately time to shrink a few inches to my normal height. My excuse.....there is going to be a lot of dancing.
Hope you have a great weekend and most importantly enjoy yourself!
