This faux leather pink skirt from H&M is my favourite item of clothing that I own in my wardrobe at the moment. I love the soft, subtle colour and the fact that you can throw anything on top of it and it looks great. Who said winter was all about wearing black? Opting for a brighter colour during the cold winter months makes me feel instantly better and less dreary. After traipsing up the newly refurbished 5 story H&M store in Oxford Circus, I was happy that my trip was not entirely wasted when I found this beautiful skirt. It was the last one left in a size 8 and I am so glad it now has a place in my wardrobe. I teamed it with this blouse because it is something that I could easily wear to work but that still has a bit of personality. When it gets colder I thought that it would look great paired with a jumper or layered up with a faux fur gilet.
I had to bare the coldness for these photos because quite frankly it hasn't been warm enough to step outside with peep toes let alone bare legs but I will definitely be wearing this skirt with tights and ankle boots too.
The Anna Dello Russo bracelet that I am wearing is my new ultimate go to accessory. It is a bit on the large side but it definitely makes a statement. The pop of colour in the bracelet is stunning and even worn with all black, it receives so many compliments. I must say I didn't like all of the accessories from the H&M collection by Anna Dello Russo. But that is probably because I prefer more dainty jewellery and all of the pieces definitely made statements of their own. Talking of collaborations, I cannot wait for the H&M collaboration with Maison Martin Margiela to hit stores on 15th November. I am wondering how Margiela's conceptual designs will translate to the high street but one can only hope. However, as much as I love Margiela I am hoping that I will not have to stand outside to secure a piece of the collection but instead I will get lucky by shopping online. Fingers crossed but in the meantime I will continue blogging about nonsense.
